Brazil says goodbye this Monday to 'O Rei' of football.

The tribute to Pelé began this morning at the Santos Fútbol Club stadium, where he spent a large part of his professional career.

The remains of Edson Arantes do Nascimento, who passed away on December 29 at the age of 82 due to colon cancer, will be veiled in a ceremony that will last until Tuesday at 10:00 am (local time).

In addition to his family, and great figures from the world of sports, thousands of fans are expected to arrive to say goodbye to the legendary soccer player.

After the wake, a procession is planned through the streets of Santos, until reaching the city's mausoleum, where a private burial for the family will take place.
