National soccer player Giulia Gwinn was a guest on "Wetten, dass...?" and was addressed several times by Thomas Gottschalk with a false name.
Now she reacted to the breakdown.
Munich – National soccer player Giulia Gwinn from FC Bayern has been a star since the women's European Championship in the summer at the latest.
The right-back, who is now followed by more than half a million people on Instagram, was even invited to "Wetten, dass...?" A few weeks ago.
During the show, moderator Thomas Gottschalk spoke to the kicker several times with the wrong name.
Now the 23-year-old reacted to the faux pas of the television legend.

During the show, she had mistakenly addressed the moderator icon Thomas Gottschalk as Giuliana – a nasty lapse given Gwinn's fame.

However, Gwinn does not blame Gottschalk for the multiple mistakes.
"Thomas Gottschalk gave me a new nickname.
If someone wants to tease me now, I'll be called Giuliana," said the 33-time national player.
The joy about the appearance in the popular ZDF program also prevails around six weeks after the recording.

Gwinn added: "Seriously, even if the situation was strange at first, I took it with humor.
Also because the evening was so special for me: Being on this well-known show is something big”.
For the Bayern player, who comes from Lake Constance, there was another plus point: "And it took place in my hometown of Friedrichshafen.
For me, Thomas Gottschalk is and will remain a TV legend."
