The Ministry of Culture and Sports held today (Monday) the ministerial exchange ceremony in the ministry, with Miki Zohar from the Likud taking the place of Hili Trooper who held the position for the past two years.
The incoming minister, Zohar, said: "A special and exciting situation, when today is the closing of a circle and the fulfillment of a dream. From the moment I entered the Knesset, I always said that I wanted this office."
Zohar knew how to flatter the troper: "I want to thank you Hili for your contribution to sports and culture in Israel. You had quite a few achievements. You will be remembered as an excellent sports minister."
Another Mazhar: "I came to this office out of a desire. I have countless plans, and if it comes true, sports and culture will reach new achievements. We will do everything to bring more and more resources, the budgets that exist today are not enough. Right from the beginning it was agreed to transfer the toto to the management of the office, and without the This one, maybe I wouldn't have been able to take and promote sports and culture."
Zohar continued: "We need to reduce gaps. The world and Europe are running away from us, and in order for this not to happen we will have to locate the young talents, build from the bottom and allow them to have all the tools for success."
Outgoing minister Trooper concluded: "A chapter has ended and there is something sad about it, but I was privileged to serve as minister and I tried to do as much as possible in a quick and deep way. The minister has a lot of power, it is in our hands and there is nothing to roll it over, the choice of good and bad is only up to us."
