Several measures to protect players and prevent cases have been put in place by the various bodies of this sport, whether at the global level (with World Rugby) or at the national level (federations and leagues).
For a long time, this question was minimized or even ignored.
The Racing 92 international third line, Wenceslas Lauret, remembers:
