The former Defense Minister and Chief of Staff, who is known for his sympathy for the Mother of the Colonies team, joined the fan association on a route that includes a subscription to the team's games for the current game season: "It's all thanks to my youngest son Noam, who also followed the team in the footsteps of his uncles"

Member of Knesset Benny Gantz, chairman of the state camp party, is the 1,148th member of the blue association, the Hapoel Petah-Tikva fans association.

The Minister of Defense and the former Chief of Staff, who is known for his sympathy for the team from the Mother of the Colonies and has even visited a number of the team's games in recent years, joined the fan association in a route that includes a subscription to the team's games for the current season, in which the team is trying to return to the Premier League after eight years in the minor league.

"I became a fan of Hapoel Petah Tikva thanks to my youngest son Noam, who also followed the team in the footsteps of his uncles," said Benny Gantz.

"I admit that for many years I didn't have time to come to the games, but now I decided that this is the opportunity to bring some football into my life and I purchased a subscription to the games. I'm glad I did it, especially when it comes to a team whose fans hold it, because in the end the fans are the heart and I'm proud to be a part of it and can't wait to come And encourage closely. Come on Hapoel."

The blue association consists of Hapoel Petah Tikva fans, who decided to take responsibility for the condition of the club, known for its glorious past including a record of five championships in a row that has not yet been broken.

This summer, the association registered a record fundraising from the fans, with an amount of about two million shekels, the same amount as the support of the entrepreneur and businessman Adam Neuman, who is investing in the team for the second year.

Now the team is after a streak of four consecutive victories in the national league and in fourth place in the table, only one point away from first place.

Tomorrow (Wednesday), the team will try to qualify for the quarter-finals of the State Cup for the first time in 18 years, when they will host Maccabi Bnei Rayna from the Premier League at the Green Stadium in Nof HaGalil.
