The ESC gala in the Dr-Rudolf-Halle delighted the spectators.

The runners implemented the film music perfectly.

Dorfen - In an entertaining performance, the runners of the ESC Dorfen enchanted their viewers on New Year's Day with contributions to well-known Hollywood blockbusters.

In the Dr. Rudolf Stadium there was an Oscar feeling for almost two hours.

Under the direction of youth trainer Jenny König, supported by her mother Anna König, as well as Korbinian Riedl and Iryna Andrukh, more than 30 runners put together a brilliant program.

Runners from VfL Waldkraiburg were also there.

Together they staged well-known screen classics from the last few decades.

Bright green was the trump card when the ESC girls conjured up the Shrek story on Dorfen ice.

Disney films like Arielle were there as well as musical performances.

For example, Jessica Hahmann and Carina Roßmeier, together with the guests from Waldkraiburg, revived America in the 1920s on the ice during the freestyle for "Chicago".

The two girls from Dorfen, who already run at Bavarian level, also impressed the audience with their solo performances of "Shades of Gray" and "San Andreas" with brilliant pirouettes and multiple jumps.

These fit into the program just as masterfully as Konrad Graf's freestyle, who as "Olaf, the Snowman" hovered playfully over the ice to the music of the "Frozen".

Squad newcomer Magdalena Böhm skilfully presented what is probably the best-known part from the Disney classic.

With her solo as Elsa, she enchanted the audience with a flawless freestyle.

Depending on their performance level, the groups also showed diligently rehearsed group choreographies to the titles of Oscar-winning films such as "Avatar" and "Harry Potter".

All runners - the youngest of them only three years old - were able to present the skills they had already acquired on the ice.

From small to large, everyone was allowed to make their contribution.

Everything was perfectly coordinated, from the excellently arranged and colorful costumes to light and sound technology, the numerous spectators who came were offered a great ensemble of dance, music and choreography on the ice.

The whole thing was moderated particularly well with wit and charm and one or two useful facts by Ludwig Roßmeier, appropriately staged by Christian Linde in lighting technology.

Hand in hand to success: All runners enjoyed the applause of the enchanted audience.

A particular highlight was the performance by Antonia Traut and Enrique Parache, who had rehearsed elements of ice dance and performed the love story from the musical "LaLaLand" on runners.

So all elements of ice sports, from solo to formation skating to couple dancing, combined with great film music, were presented for the best.

For all friends of ice sports, it was an all-round successful firework display of light and show effects and a great start to the new year with great performances by all those involved, who represented their club with dignity.
