The frenzy surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo's signing with the Al Nasser team from the Saudi Arabian League reached its peak this evening (Tuesday) with his presentation in the country from the Gulf.
The Portuguese star is presented at a festive press conference, where he will wear the team's yellow-blue uniform for the first time.
As you may remember, after his sensational release from Manchester United, the painful elimination from the World Cup, and the unsuccessful attempt to find a new European team, CR7 signed for two and a half years with the Saudi club, and is supposed to earn an unprecedented contract of 200 million euros per season.
Ronaldo arrived last night by private plane to Riyadh, accompanied by his family and entourage.
Today he managed to pass the second part of the medical tests, before the big signing event.
Over 100,000 people tried to purchase a ticket (at a cost of $15), and only 25,000 of them succeeded, arriving in the afternoon at the Al-Nasser Marsul Park stadium.
It is still unclear when CR7 will take to the field for the first time in an official game, but it may happen in about two weeks.
