The Norwegian biathlete Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold makes her happiness public on New Year's Eve: She proudly shows her engagement ring on the cross-country ski run.
Munich – The biathlon season is not old yet: Only three World Cups have been completed, the World Championships in Oberhof (February 8th to 19th) are just around the corner.
Things are going well for Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold so far.
But the highlight of her winter is of a private nature: the Norwegian has got engaged.

The three-time biathlon world champion uploaded a video to Instagram on New Year's Eve that shows her training on the cross-country ski run.
With a happy smile, she holds her hand up to the camera and shows her engagement ring on her middle finger.
"At the peak of life into 2023," she writes.
Numerous companions, competitors and fans congratulated the 26-year-old on their upcoming marriage.
Who is the lucky one anyway?
There are no pictures with her future husband on her Instagram profile, but it has been known for a long time that she is in a relationship with the Norwegian Trygve Bendixen Markset.
Biathlon greats congratulate Tandrevold on engagement
So far, she has largely kept her private life out of the public eye, and she did not want to withhold her engagement from her followers.
She received congratulations from the biathlon greats Johannes Thingnes Boe, Marte Olsbu-Roeiseland, Tiril Eckhoff and Martin Fourcade, among others.
In the women's World Cup, Tandrevold is currently flying the Norwegian flag.
She is fifth in the overall standings and has already made it onto the podium twice this season.
A few days ago she took part in the team challenge at Schalke, and the next World Cup at Pokljuka in Slovenia starts next Thursday.

She wants to follow up on her six world championship medals at the world championships in Oberhof in February.
