Crowds paid their last respects yesterday to Edson Arancis de Nascimento, known as Pele, Brazil's greatest player of all time.
Thousands from all over Brazil came to Villa Belamiro, the home stadium of Santos, to say goodbye to the legendary number 10 when the one who did not miss the opportunity to say a final goodbye was the double of the football legend.
This is a Brazilian who goes by the name Nicanor Ribeiro, who has been acting as Pele's double for the past 20 years.
Nikanor, said during the burial ceremony that he participated together with Fela in three commercials over the years when Fela always claimed to him that "I am much more beautiful than you...".

Nicanor, who met the legendary Fela back in 1996 and only in 2002 officially took on the role of mascot, continued to share: "Fela left a fantastic legacy. I just have to thank God for everything he has done for me in my life. He got me out of alcoholism and made me into someone recognizable I just have to thank him."
