The state league ice hackers of EV Moosburg are aiming for the top positions in the relegation round.
The captain holds his team accountable.

– Things get serious for EV Moosburg on Friday: SG TSV Schliersee/TEV Miesbach 1b show up in the Clariant Arena at 7:30 p.m. as the first opponent in the relegation round.
The Green-Yellows have to play a first leg and a second leg against the teams in fifth to ninth place in Landesliga Group B.
Namely, these are EV Pfronten, EHC Bad Aibling, ERC Lechbruck, SG Schliersee/Miesbach 1b and SC Forst.
Good for the EVM: The points against the teams in Season A that slipped into the relegation round (EV Fürstenfeldbruck, VER Selb, ESC Vilshofen, EHC Bayreuth, ERSC Ottobrunn) are taken from the preliminary round.
In the case of the Dreirosenstädter, that's 15 points, which currently means sixth place in the table.
In the end, that would be enough to stay up: Because only places ten and eleven in the relegation round play out a relegation to the district league in a playdown series.
EVM management crew has to prove themselves
In order to stay away from this scenario, the EVM ice hackers have to show a different face than in the last home game against Selb, which thanks to the 4:3 win brings it to 16 points and fourth place.
After the game, coach Benoit Doucet spoke of one of the worst performances of the season and above all denounced the relaxed game of his management team.
"My hope is that the players will realize that you have to take every opponent seriously.
There are too many players here who think they are too good for the league.
But you have to prove that in every game.”

EVM captain Sascha Haschberger wasn't satisfied with the team's performance either: "We played too loosely against the supposedly weaker opponents throughout the season.
If you think before the game you've won, then you'll lose games like you did against Selb.” The EVM also dropped points against Vilshofen, Bayreuth and Fürstenfeldbruck in the preliminary round.
Doucet still has a lot planned for his team
The green-yellow are constantly in danger of slipping into a sluggish life, especially when they are in the lead, says the veteran.
"It has to be stopped as soon as possible.
If we play like that in the relegation round, it will be very tight.
We have to pull ourselves together.
Because we took a few points with us, but that's not enough,” demands Haschberger.
Doucet also has a lot planned for his team and wants to finish the relegation round in one of the first places.
A win on Friday against SG Schliersee/Miesbach 1B would be a good start and would not even let the specter of relegation haunt the EVM.
