PSG: Leo Messi back at Camp des Loges

2023-01-04T10:11:05.012Z

The world champion made his return to the PSG facilities at Saint-Germain this morning, just over two weeks after his sanctuary.

Sergio Ramos, Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappé are officially no longer the only world champions in the Parisian locker room.

Since this Wednesday morning, the trio has been joined by a fourth member, and not the least: Lionel Messi, who has officially returned to Camp des Loges after an end to 2022 which will have seen him conquer the supreme title in the jersey of Argentina.

Seventeen days after the World Cup final won against the French team, the Argentinian has, as expected, returned to the Ooredoo center.

A logically delayed return since the Parisians all had a day off on Tuesday, two days after the defeat in Lens.

Messi, who landed in Paris yesterday afternoon with his whole family, was welcomed on Wednesday morning by smiling teammates.

If Kylian Mbappé and Achraf Hakimi are currently enjoying a few days off in the United States, after having anticipated their return following the World Cup, all the others, from Neymar to Carlos Soler via Sarabia or Nuno Mendes, were present.

Logically, Leo Messi should still be a bit tight to play in the 32nd final of the Coupe de France which awaits the Parisians in Châteauroux, this Friday evening (9 p.m.).

On the other hand, the Parisian public can reasonably hope to see - and cheer - their new world champion from the next Ligue 1 match, this Wednesday, January 11, with the reception of SCO Angers.

The return to reality after a crazy adventure for the

Pulga

, extremely valuable for PSG at the start of the season (12 goals, 14 assists in 19 games).

Waiting for the announcement of its extension.
