The Al-Karamah team lost to the Lebanese Sports Club, 89-67, in the match that took place between them in the Al-Fayhaa Sports Hall in Damascus today, in the third round of the group stage of the Super West Asian Basketball Championship (Wasl).
The Al-Karama team lost to the Iranian Gorgan in the second round, with a score of 83-78 points, and it also lost its first match in the championship, against Iraqi Oil, with a score of 89-66 points.
Al-Karama plays in the second group, in which the Lebanese Al-Riyadi Club, the Iraqi Oil Club and the Iranian Gorgan compete.
The teams play in a league manner in each group separately, so the first of each of them qualifies directly for the semi-finals, while the second of each group plays with the third in the other group in order for four teams to qualify for the semi-finals.
