The 29-year-old centre-back, on loan from Arsenal to the Italian club, came on as a second-half substitute against Fiorentina on Serie A Matchday 16, marking the resumption after the month-and-a-half break due to Global.
Pablo Mari was among several people attacked in a hypermarket on October 27 by a man visibly suffering from psychiatric disorders, who grabbed a knife from a shelf and killed an employee, injuring the player and four other people.
Hit on the back, the footballer was operated on and hospitalized for a few days.
