Mercato: Monegasque Badiashile signs for Chelsea for 7 and a half years

Obviously, Chelsea wants to build on the long term with Benoît Badiashile.

The London club has announced the signing for seven and a half years, until 2030, of the now ex-central defender of AS Monaco.

The amount of the transfer was not disclosed but, according to The Athletic, the Blues were ready to shell out nearly 40 million euros to secure the services of the French international.

Badiashile leaves his training club, with which he played 135 games, three months after his debut in the jersey of the France team.

Regular with the Espoirs, he was invited by Didier Deschamps at the end of September and was entitled to two starts against Austria (2-0) and Denmark (0-2).

On the other hand, the coach preferred Axel Disasi to him for the World Cup in Qatar.
