Beitar Jerusalem is ready for the derby against Hapoel on Wednesday night • The coach, who won't stand on the lines: "The referees need to understand that as long as the coach doesn't curse, you have to be smart" • Danilo Asperia: "There will be situations that will happen or I won't be able to play and the team has to be ready for it"

"It's always disappointing not to stand on the lines, especially in a derby, and especially at a time like this," said Yossi Abouxis today (Thursday), "we coaches have emotions on the lines, sometimes too much, and that's something that also needs to be learned, but we are more united than at the start of the season and I trust the whole group.

"Many times the referees mess with the coaches and they have to understand that as long as the coach doesn't curse or anything like that, you have to be smart and let the game flow. Avraham Levy once said 'not everything needs to be heard', and you have to be smart. Sometimes we throw comments but it's not cursing Or something like that and you have to be smart."

About Nicolasco's absence and the loss in the previous derby, Abouxis said: "Nicolasco had a good time, but I won't make excuses because of missing players and we believe that whoever plays will do the job.

"The previous loss in the derby? I have a lot of bad memories from the previous round, from his first games, but we are not looking for revenge and such, we want to improve in terms of points, ability and we want to win."

Danilo Asperia added: "Every game is important, but we must win this game. I believe we will bring the three points.

"For me, Nicolasco is the best striker in the league so his disadvantage will be significant for us, but sometimes there will be situations where he or Shua or I won't be able to play and the team has to be ready for that. I promise the fans that we will do our best to win."

In the previous round, the derby was colored red-black.
