Half of the games of the 18th round in the National League ended today (Friday) a short time ago, and after a dramatic goal in the 90th minute there is also a new lead, at least until the cycle is completed with four more games on Monday.
The big drama was in Acre, where the local Hapoel hosted Hapoel Nof HaGilil, who got on the board first with a goal by Mohamed Kainda in the 39th minute.
In the second half, within seven minutes, Acre made a turnaround with goals from Amir Ryan (62) and Jordan Pusha (69), but in the 88th minute, Julian Shlofa equalized to 2:2.
Another stumbling block of Acre?
Not this time.
The team's top scorer, Zahi Ahmed, was there in the 90th minute to score a winning goal with a tremendous kick for the connections, to determine 2:3 for Acre, who rose to the top of the league.
At the other end of the table, an important victory for Bnei Yehuda in a bottom battle with Hapoel Ramat Gan.
Claude Cuay put the Oranges ahead in the 14th minute, but 10 minutes later Guy Dror equalized the score.
