Once again, Paris is doing well in the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France.
PSG have qualified for the 33rd consecutive time at this stage, winning at Châteauroux (1-3).
But Galtier's men did not have an evening as easy as expected.
Deprived of the MNM (Mbappé-Neymar-Messi), the players of the capital did not have an easy meeting and will have waited for the last quarter of an hour to draw this success.
Châteauroux believed in it
After a great chance obtained after… 20 seconds, Hugo Ekitike managed to open the scoring after taking advantage of a good service from Gharbi (0-1, 13th).
A logical advantage as Paris seemed superior… until half an hour into the game. Because if the young Gharbi came very close to 2-0 on a repelled volley (29th), the Parisians were scared in defense.
After a first alert (26th), Keylor Navas, for his first game of the season, had to bow to a shot from Ntolla blocked in the back of his net by Bitshiabu (1-1, 37th).
The difference in the last quarter of an hour
Coming very close to taking the advantage on a shot just off target from Nolan Roux (42nd), Châteauroux showed good values and still had chances after the break, even touching the post (48th).
But blunted, the locals will have ended up giving in, Delecroix bowing to Soler, after a nice save on a try from Ekitike (1-2, 78th), and before the cross shot from Bernat (1-3, 90th + 1).
Success without shining from a PSG far from reassuring.
