Sommer, Bono – or Kovacevic: Is there a surprising opportunity for FC Bayern?
An agent offers his goalkeeper.
Munich – 'Not again' is what the German internationals in the FC Bayern squad will think to themselves as their plane takes off for Qatar.
Joshua Kimmich, Thomas Müller and Co.'s bad memories of the desert World Cup are still fresh.

FC Bayern looking for a goalkeeper: Agent makes a surprising offer
The Airbus A350 took off without Noussair Mazraoui and Marcel Sabitzer.
And without a replacement for the injured Manuel Neuer.
A new keeper should actually have been found by the start of the training camp, but the “new replacement” project is “extremely difficult”, as Oliver Kahn reported.
Bayern wouldn't have it difficult at all with Vladan Kovacevic: The Serb, who also has Bosnian citizenship, is even offered to the Munich team directly by his agent Franjo Vranjkovic.
"I'm offering FC Bayern to test goalkeeper Kovacevic," he told

.
The 24-year-old is "the best young goalkeeper in Europe," said Vranjkovic.

Vladan Kovacevic to Bayern?
Most Valuable Pro offered in Poland
He is the owner of the consulting agency "Firsteleven ISM", which also looks after the Premier League stars Wilfried Ndidi and Issa Diop.
But who is Kovacevic?
The name won't mean anything to the overwhelming majority of German football fans - in Poland he's a star.
The 1.92 meter giant plays for the leaders of the Polish Ekstraklasa (Rakow Czestochowa) and is the most valuable player in Poland's first division with a market value of 5 million euros.

New Bayern keeper could come by loan trick
And Kovacevic is actually having a great season: in 14 games he has kept nine clean sheets and conceded only seven goals.
He also had impressive statistics last season (only conceding 24 goals in 27 games).
If his agent has his way, FC Bayern would not even have to buy Kovacevic.

"An English club would buy him immediately and loan him to FC Bayern," promises Vranjkovic.
"No goalkeeper has what Kovacevic has: nerves of steel, the ability to react on the line and the enormous personality structure, nobody is better," he praises his protégé full-bodiedly.
FC Bayern could pursue Plan B if the summer transfer doesn't work
Will FC Bayern include the Serbs in their considerations?
The statements made by his agent are certainly exaggerated, but he's also not a complete no-brainer.
Salihamidzic and Co. seem to have settled on Yann Sommer, but nothing is certain yet.
Gladbach coach Daniel Farke "firmly assumed" on Sky on Friday that Sommer would play for him in the second half of the season.
If the summer transfer doesn't work, Munich could also pursue a different strategy: make the proven Sven Ulreich the temporary number one and get a new number two.
Then a player like Kovacevic would be interesting.
