As Le Figaro revealed on Thursday evening, Bernard Laporte's choice fell on his vice-president in charge of amateur rugby, Patrick Buisson, as a candidate for the post of deputy president during his withdrawal.
A designation which was approved by the Federal Bureau this Friday mid-morning.
Patrick Buisson, preferred to Serge Simon whose candidacy had been rejected Thursday by the ethics committee of the FFR, will therefore submit to the (electronic) vote of the 1900 clubs from January 23 to 25.
