Yahoo Sports reports this morning (Friday) that Tyler Dorsey, the American-Greek guard who used to play for Maccabi Tel Aviv and then for Olympiakos, is currently training with the Los Angeles Lakers and may receive a contract with the team for ten days.
Despite interest from Fenerbahce and his former club Olympiakos, Aris Breks of Eurohoops reported that the Greek player is still interested in opportunities overseas and is looking for an NBA contract.
The 26-year-old Dorsey was released by the Dallas Mavericks after playing in just three games this season, averaging 3.0 points in 2.7 minutes per game.
He appeared mainly in the development league, with the Texas Legends, in media played 15 games in the league and recorded 24.0 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
