Except for the game between Oklahoma City and Washington, tonight (between Friday and Saturday) there were 10 more games in the NBA where the focus was Charlotte's victory over Milwaukee and Giannis, and Brooklyn's return to the winning track after their impressive streak was interrupted in the previous game against Chicago.
Milwaukee (14:25) - Charlotte (29:11) 138:109
No one really expected this crash of the Bucks but already in the first quarter, it allowed the guest to score 51 points that turned this whole game into one long game.
Giannis delivered one of his weakest games in recent years and saw Terry Rozier excel for the Hornets with 39 points, with LaMlo Ball adding a double-double of 24 points and 12 assists.
Yanis in the game fell, as mentioned, contributed to the loser only 9 points in 22 minutes.
New Orleans (15:24) - Brooklyn (13:26) 108:102
After Chicago snapped its impressive 12-game winning streak, Brooklyn got back on track, taking advantage of Zion Williamson's absence for the host to get closer to Boston.
The game was close almost throughout, but Kyrie Irving's 3-pointer with 43 seconds to go made it 100:106 and closed things out for the team from New York.
Kevin Durant was the standout with 33 points and 10 rebounds, with Kyrie adding 19 of his own.
For the loser, CJ McCollum stood out with 28.
