American Mikaela Shiffrin equaled compatriot Lindsey Vonn's record of 82 World Cup victories by winning the second giant slalom in Kranjska Gora on Sunday.
Shiffrin, who had failed to reach this record on Saturday by finishing 6th on the same track, was ahead of the Italian Federica Brignone by 77 hundredths and the Swiss Lara Gut-Behrami by 97 hundredths.
