The 16th round of the Spanish league reaches its climax tonight (Sunday) with a particularly heated battle in the capital Madrid between Atlético and Barcelona.
Real Sociedad won 0:2 in the afternoon game in Almeria and established itself in third place.
Sevilla achieved a critical victory over Getafe and rose above the red line, Betis won 1:2 at Rayo Waicano and temporarily moved into fourth place.

In the five visits to the Metropolitano since it opened, Barcelona have only managed to come away with the upper hand once.

Rayo Vaikano - Betis 2:1
A critical victory for Betis, who rose to the coveted fourth place and will remain there if Atlético Madrid loses later this evening to Barcelona.
