FC Bayern does not give up advertising for Yann Sommer
Borussia Mönchengladbach does not want to let their goalkeeper Yann Sommer move to Bayern.
»We will not give up Yann Sommer.
We told Bayern that too," said Foal Sports Director Roland Virkus of the Rheinische Post.
But now Sport1 and "Bild" report that Bayern still hope for a commitment from the Swiss national goalkeeper.
And the chances are said to be not bad.
FC Bayern offer around five million euros for the keeper, whose contract expires in the summer.
According to the reports, Gladbach would like to collect at least eight million euros.
That's how much the alleged desired successor Jonas Omlin would cost, reports Sport1.
"We'll see what's possible," said Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann about a possible transfer of the Swiss goalkeeper.
Real allegedly interested in Džeko
Because top striker Karim Benzema is repeatedly injured, Champions League winner Real Madrid is, according to media reports, looking for another attacker.
As "Calciomercatoweb" reports, the 36-year-old Edin Džeko should also be a candidate.
He is currently playing for Inter Milan in Italy, but his contract expires after the season.
The ex-Wolfsburg player has scored seven goals in 17 league games this season.
Aboubakar likely fired from Ronaldo club
At the World Cup in Qatar, Vincent Aboubakar scored twice for Cameroon, one of them from a remarkable lob.
However, he has now been sacked by his Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, reports the AFP news agency.
The reason: Cristiano Ronaldo.
Because Al-Nassr would have had one foreign player too many in the squad with Ronaldo - that's why Aboubakar had to go.
Now Beşiktaş Istanbul is said to be interested in the attacker, reports the sports website "FootMercato".

Hoffenheim excludes Rutte who is willing to change from training
Georginio Rutter was allowed to warm up with his teammates at the Albufeira training camp on Sunday.
The 20-year-old Frenchman was released from team training by TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in response to speculation about his possible move to Leeds United in the English Premier League.
»Georgi is confronted with a major issue that is occupying him intensely.
He's a very young man and it's only too understandable that he's concerned about the current situation," said Hoffenheim's sporting director Alexander Rosen.
The Kraichgauer signed Rutter from Stade Rennes in 2021 for around 750,000 euros.
The English club from Leeds is said to want to spend between 30 and 40 million euros on its commitment.
Rutter has scored two goals and two assists in 15 Bundesliga games this season.
