"Here the BCA reigns!" The Attachinger footballers rocked the sports hall of the Luitpoldanlage on Saturday evening.

In the afternoon it looked as if the team would not survive the group phase.

The hall was firmly in Attachinger's hands: the district league footballers of the BCA won the FT Hallenmasters - thanks to a 4:3 final victory against SE Freising.

Freising

– “Klingelingeling – Attaching”.

Everyone in the football district knows this saying - and it was heard not only once on Saturday evening in the Luitpoldanlage sports hall, which was packed with almost 350 spectators: The BC Attaching kickers deservedly put on the crown at the Freisinger Budenzauber after they got into the tournament and won the decisive games with irrepressible commitment and a huge amount of willpower.

With the FT as a media partner, the SE Freising organizes the Freisinger Tagblatt Hall Masters.

Undaunted and with full commitment, the Attachingen went into the final against the state league and city rivals SE Freising - and that paid off: After less than a minute, the district league was 1-0 ahead thanks to a goal by Franz Gamperl.

But the SEF fought back, and Staas Mitko equalized almost immediately after a fine pass from Felix Fischer.

Afterwards, however, Lerchenfelder probably took it too easy: First Muhamed Hajric scored to give the BCA the lead again, before Lukas Hübner and Didier Nguelefack made the supposed preliminary decision with a double strike in the eleventh minute after Freising's mistakes.

But the SEF didn't give up and almost turned the game around: Staas Mitko reduced the deficit to 2:4 (13th), before Luka Brudtloff managed to make it 3:4 (14th).

Alone,

there wasn't enough time to equalize - and so the Indoor Masters winner was called BC Attaching.

The district league team had outsmarted the state league.

BC Attaching is gaining momentum

BCA coach Stephan Fürst in particular had reason to be happy afterwards: he had won the tournament a few years ago as a player – and now as a coach.

"My team did a great job in terms of fighting, in the end we deservedly won." Although at first it didn't look as if the BCA would even make it into the finals of the Masters: it was a 0 against the SEF in the first game: 1 defeat, only a clear 4:1 against Vötting brought Attaching second place in the preliminary round group A thanks to the direct comparison won. "At the beginning I still hoped that we wouldn't be last," Fürst looked back.

He was spot on: Staas Mitko (r.) – here a game scene against Vötting – shot the SEF into the final with a golden goal.

But the Attachingers found their way in better and better and left no doubts even in the 2-0 win in the semifinals against Fatih Ingolstadt.

There too, Franz Gamperl opened the door with his 1-0 lead, and Fareed Tourey increased the score with the final whistle.

And the 800 euro prize money?

The Attachingers quickly planned them.

One half was reserved for the victory celebrations in the night cafe - the other half is given to player Nguelefack, who wants to use it to build a well at home in Cameroon.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

SEF coach Florian Bittner, on the other hand, was a little disappointed.

He would have liked to have defended the title at the Masters, now as a coach.

"But Attaching took their chances and deservedly won." His young squad didn't come through the tournament unscathed either: After the 1-0 win against BCA, there was a surprising 0-1 draw against Vötting before the hosts met again caught and with two more victories against Vatanspor (8:0) and Allershausen (4:1) secured the group victory.

Dramatic semi-final including golden goal

There was a lot of trembling in the semi-finals: Because no goal was scored against FC Moosinning in regular time, it went into extra time, where Staas Mitko made the decision after a quick free kick and a pass from Felix Günzel with the golden goal .

“It was extremely annoying because we were better.

We also failed because of our poor evaluation of chances," said FCM coach Christoph Ball after the semifinals.

Also annoying: Both Fatih Ingolstadt and Vatanspor Freising had not shown up for their placement games and had left the hall through the back door.

The ten coaches chose Attachings Glory Kitoko as the best goalkeeper of the tournament – and Moosinnings Yannick Sassmann (four goals) was honored as the best goalscorer.
