Bastian Schweinsteiger and Ana Ivanovic made a likeable TV appearance.
The football legend also countered moderator Kai Pflaume.
Munich – Bastian Schweinsteiger (38) currently has a lot to do.
At the 2022 World Cup, together with Esther Sedlaczek, he made a real dream team of presenters for four weeks.
At the turn of the year he posed in Vienna with politicians.
And now he's hanging upside down from a trapeze and catching tennis balls!

As seen on the ARD Saturday evening show "Small vs. Large".
The German soccer legend, together with his wife Ana Ivanovic (35), faced the challenge of Katharina (11) and Daniel (12), as reported by tz.de.
The task: While one team partner passes the balls with a tennis racket, the other hangs upside down on the trapeze and tries to catch them.
In the end, the former world-class athletes did it a little better than the young candidates.
Schweini, who will always be remembered by German football fans as the 2014 World Champion, showed some spectacular catches and once again delivered a great TV performance.
On Twitter, for example, a fan wrote: "Schweinsteiger first introduces himself to all companion sons: 'Servus, I'm Basti.'
As if anyone doesn't know him.
Very down-to-earth and likeable - as always.”

"Have to look after the children": Schweinsteiger counters the plum idea on TV
Schweinsteiger and Ivanovic had already announced via their social networks that they could be seen on ARD that evening.
Ivanovic wrote in her story: "I take on every challenge with you." In German: "Together with you, I accept every challenge."
Really everyone?
Because host and presenter Kai Pflaume came up with something: After Schweini's trapeze performance, he pretended to have heard something from the director: "I'm just hearing: Cirque du Soleil has already called and is asking about free appointments you.” Schweinsteiger easily smiled at the idea of the circus performance and countered: “Have to take care of the children.”
Bastian Schweinsteiger didn't have an easy job at "Klein versus Groß".

Bastian Schweinsteiger has known Felix Neureuther since childhood: a difficult week after Rosi Mittermaier's death
The former midfielder, who played for Bayern Munich for most of his career, is the father of two sons.
Luka and Leon saw the light of day in 2018 and 2019.
Ana Ivanovic has announced in the past that she cannot understand her children when Grandma and Grandpa Schweinsteiger come to visit.
Why?
Clear!
They speak Bavarian!
Ivanovic, the 2008 French Open winner from Serbia, is learning the German language.
But when it comes to dialect, she still has some catching up to do.

On the other hand, she and her Basti make a great couple in so many other ways, as could be seen again in "Small vs. Large".
For Schweinsteiger himself, however, the past week was anything but easy.
Finally Rosi Mittermaier died.
Her son Felix Neureuther, who said goodbye to his mother with emotional words, is one of Schweinsteiger's oldest friends.
