In a statement to SANA, Salman explained that she started practicing karate at the age of nine due to her passion for this game, because it is of great benefit because it gives the body strength and helps increase self-confidence, referring to the encouragement of her father, the coach of the national team and a member of the Federation of the Game, Suhail Salman, who noticed her talent, so Ashraf To train her to raise her level, and bring her to advanced stages.
Salman, who holds the brown belt, added: “She won several gold and silver medals during her local participation in the Republic championships in the minus 12-year-old category and the minus-14-year-old category, which motivated her to be more attached to the game, and to continue training to record more good results, and to write her name among the players.” Distinguished women, as she won the West Asian gold for the year 2022 in the plus weight of 48 kg for the category of minus 14 years, which was held in Sharjah.
