The director of the National League announced today (Monday) the first round picks.
As you know, Hapoel Afula took the top spot at the end of the round and Roi Perl won the title of coach of the round, while second place went to Yair Gvirtz - coach of Maccabi Ma'ale Adumim.
The title of Israeli player of the round went to Gal Gilinski who led Elitzur Ashkelon to an impressive first round, during which she held first place for most of the time.
The center (27, 1.96) provided diverse and impressive statistics that include 12 points, 6.2 rebounds and 6.6 assists.
The title of foreign player of the first round was won by Edi Akure from Maccabi Maale Adumim.
For the center (25, 2.03) this is his first season in the National League, and from the early stages of the season he showed impressive versatility while carrying Maccabi Ma'ale Adumim - the surprise of the season so far - to an impressive round that included eight wins compared to five losses.
During the round, Akure provided 20.8 points (58% for 2, 40% for 3), 9.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.6 steals.
