The storm of the French team on the way to calm?
The chairman of the French Football Federation, Noel Le Grat, published today (Monday) a message of apology towards the legend of the past and the coach, Zinedine Zidane.
"These embarrassing comments created a misunderstanding," Le Grat said.
"I would like to express my personal apology for these statements, which do not fully reflect my views, nor my thoughts about the player he was and the coach he became."
Le Grat spoke unusually towards Zidane, after it was decided that Didier Deschamps would remain in his position as coach of the French national team.
"Zidane? I'm not interested at all. He can go wherever he wants. I really didn't contact him and I wouldn't even answer his phone," said the chairman who, as mentioned, apologized today for the embarrassing statements.

Even earlier, in France they were upset about this statement, and Real Madrid, which he coached, Kylian Mbappe and former player Franck Ribery came out against Le Grat.
The PSG striker tweeted: "Zidane is France, you don't underestimate a legend like that."
