First Olympian recruit of the winter, and first big transfer of this transfer window in Ligue 1, Malinovskyi arrives, announces the club, on loan with option to buy.

Several sources detail the supposed terms of this purchase option, which would be mandatory and would amount to 10 million euros, with an additional 3 million euros as an option.

Left-handed attacking midfielder, who had particularly stood out during the recent European campaigns of his now former club, Atalanta Bergamo (2020, 2021, 2022), where he had demonstrated all the effectiveness of his left foot.

He had, in particular, faced PSG in the quarter-finals of the Champions League during the "Final 8" in 2020. He had joined the Italian club in 2019 from Belgium, after having played most of his career at Shakhtar Donestk, his training club.

In Italy, he played 143 games, for 30 goals and 28 assists.

OM describes him, in its press release, as "a very intelligent player who makes the game smoother and produces a large number of key passes per match", endowed with an "incredible left foot, a formidable weapon which allows him to be very skilful on set pieces and shots from distance.

This expected arrival follows in particular the departure of Gerson, which took place earlier in the winter, in Flamengo (Brazil).
