A-Class 5: As versatile as a chameleon - camouflage, top scorer and moments of surprise

The autumn round of the A-Class 5 can be compared well with the nature of a chameleon.
Changeable, with goalscorers who strike like lightning and moments of surprise.
Landkreis - Goals that weren't, top teams that disappointed and chances that weren't taken.
In 2022, many things in the A-Class 5 were not what they first seemed.
The League was as changeable as the color of a chameleon.
And that's not the only thing the class had in common with the reptiles over the past year.
A comparison.
Camouflage: Gates that aren't
From red to green in just a few minutes.
Whether for mating or camouflage, chameleons do not need long to change their color.
The reptiles adapt to their environment in a flash.
And sometimes referee decisions are just as changeable - for example on the sixth matchday, when SG Eichenfeld was a guest at Unterbruck II.
When the score was 1-1, a header from Unterbruck's Leon Kern landed in the net – didn't it?
After the goal, Eichenfelder discovered a hole in the goal net through which the ball could have rolled.
The Ampertal denied this, for the SGE the matter was not so clear.
Maybe also because they thought they were at a disadvantage when it was 1-1: After top scorer Markus Ujwari complained about a referee's decision,
der Eichenfelder received a yellow card and referee Selahattin Sen awarded a free-kick where Ujwari had been standing.
A clearly illegal decision - actually there should have been a throw-in - which Johannes Georgi promptly used to equalise.
That's why the SGE wanted to go to the sports court, but ultimately decided against it because of the lack of chances of success.
From the green table back to the green lawn – here, too, appearances are deceptive.
Hunt by Tongue - Ice-cold goalscorers
Chameleons watch their victims for a long time - flies or crickets, for example.
They seem harmless though.
But then their greatest weapon suddenly strikes: the tongue.
This is sticky, shaped and sometimes twice as long as the body.
They snap in a flash – the tongue of the thumb-sized chameleon species Rhampholeon accelerates to almost 100 kilometers per hour in a hundredth of a second.
Kim Peter von Allershausen II does it in a similar way: The thoroughbred striker waits a long time on the offside line for the pass before he also strikes ice cold.
He's done it 21 times this season.
Just behind him is Seweryn Szczecina from Dietersheim with 20 goals.
The 38-year-old was initially mainly active with the old men and then played intoxicated in the fall.
His strengths:
The teamwork and his pace.
However, the man from Dietersheim does not reach 100 km/h.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
Play dead in case of danger - The Pullinger crash
Sometimes even chameleons are too colorful: In case of danger, the reptiles can become shocked and fall to the ground.
They play dead. You can get that impression from SV Pulling too.
The team had an excellent start to the season, won the first five games and was at the top of the table until the ninth day of the game, when the shock set in.
Since then, the SVP has only scored five points in seven duels and is now stuck in the no man's land of the tableau.
Habitat top of the table
If chameleons were football teams, the place in the sun - the top of the table - would probably be the place where they would most like to be.
Because they like it warm and would therefore feel in good hands with the second of TSV Allershausen at the moment.
For a long time, it was a head-to-head race with SG Eichenfeld, which was decided in a direct duel for the time being.
On the last day of the autumn match, TSV got revenge for the 0:6 embarrassment in the first half of the season with a narrow but not undeserved 2:1 win.
But in the second half of the season everything is still open, because only three points separate TSV from its pursuers.

There was a need for discussion on the part of SG Eichenfeld (green), which even considered going to the sports court.

Caution on unfamiliar terrain
Chameleons jerkily move forward.
They only take the first step when they are sure of their surroundings.
It was a similar story for the promoted teams: SV Kranzberg and SV Hohenkammer struggled at first and were stuck at the bottom of the table for a long time, until the camouflage was abandoned at the end of the autumn round and the knot burst.
In particular, SV Kranzberg II had a real series with five wins in a row before the winter break.
Start-up time necessary: Hohenkammer (red) who has been promoted is now over the line after a bumpy start.

Annoying exploitation of opportunities
A chameleon's color depends on its mood.
So the animals can literally get angry.
The animals would probably have adopted this color if they held it with FC Neufahrn II or VfB Hallbergmoos III, who are now stuck in the last two places in the table and blame the lack of chances above all.
FCN in particular has huge problems in front of goal and hopes to change colors less often in the spring round.
A very special debut in Unterbruck
Chameleons love flexibility - just in terms of color - and are therefore certainly happy about a special debut in the A-class: Lena Zaindl was the first woman in the district to play in a men's game.
She came on as a substitute in the game against SV Dietersheim.
She almost scored a goal.
Zaindl has already scored with the women like on an assembly line and now trains with the men from time to time.
The deployment was made possible by a rule change by the BFV in the summer.
Hard to miss: The Dietersheim fans
Chameleons can do a lot, but unfortunately they have trouble hearing.
Instead of using sounds, they communicate through their color changes.
However, they would be in the wrong place at SV Dietersheim.
This season, they are sometimes supported loudly by a group of young people who even bought a drum and thought up their own fan chants.
The A-Class 5 is versatile and little is what it seems.
Therefore, it is probably more sensible to refrain from forecasts for the new year.
