Maccabi Tel Aviv breathed a sigh of relief this morning (Tuesday) after the request for a one-week postponement of the prosecution of the team for the racist calls to Taleb Tuatecha was approved by the Football Association's tribunal.
As I recall, if the discussion was indeed held tomorrow (Wednesday), Maccabi Tel Aviv feared that the conditional radius penalty that exists against the team for racist chants, would be activated and implemented in the season's game against the champion in a little less than two weeks.
The postponement of the discussion means that the penalty cannot be applied already in the next home game of the Yellows against Maccabi Haifa since by then all the tickets for the season's game will be sold.
Apparently, and if the penalty is indeed applied - the Yellows will be forced to host Bnei Sakhnin outside of Bloomfield.
