The National Ethics Council (CNE) no longer wants Noël Le Graët at the head of the FFF.
Patrick Anton, the president of the CNE, called on the 81-year-old Breton to resign, according to comments reported by L'Equipe.

The CNE "does not intend to seize a disciplinary committee" but asks Le Graët "to withdraw, in the best interests of football".
Anton believes that the current president no longer has the means to fully perform the functions he occupies.
"President Le Graët made remarks which show that he has lost some of his lucidity," he said.
He is a man who is tired, who needs to move on.
Governing a Federation which has two million licensees presupposes that one does not lose his calm and serenity as he did.

The CNE took the floor "by application of the ethical principles of the Federation which are well recalled by the ethical charter".
This organization has the ability to seize a disciplinary committee but does not have the power to oust the president of the governing body of football in France.
During the season, the CNE is called upon to apply to the leaders of districts or leagues "the rules in terms of ethics and to transmit files to disciplinary committees because they have crossed the line".
Appointed by the Comex, the CNE is made up of seven members.
It is responsible for giving opinions on ethical issues and informing the higher football bodies of facts likely to harm the image of this sport, according to the General Regulations of the FFF.
In 2018, the Federation had seized the CNE to study the ethnic record at the PSG recruitment cell, highlighted by the Football Leaks, then by revelations from the Parisian.
Last May, this body had asked the Senegalese midfielder of PSG Idrissa Gueye, who had refused to play in Montpellier during the day dedicated to the fight against homophobia, to clarify his position.
