According to about six months Sebastian Haller, striker of Borussia Dortmund, was informed that a cancerous tumor was discovered in his testicles.
Tonight (Tuesday), six months after the discovery, the striker recorded the first minutes in an exciting comeback in a friendly match of the yellow-blacks against Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Haller, who underwent chemotherapy treatments and two surgeries, recovered from the disease and last month showed up for the first time for light training and medical tests.
The striker gradually began to return to regular training with his teammates ahead of the return of the Bundesliga from the winter break, and in the preparatory game he recorded a particularly exciting 16 minutes.
