Yossi Sharabi will end his position as CEO of the Israel Football Association | Israel Today

The Chairman of the Football Association Shino Zoertz and the CEO Yossi Sharabi agreed this evening (Tuesday) on the termination of the latter's position as CEO of the association.

The chairman of the association, Shino Zoertz: "I want to thank Yossi Sharabi for his work for the benefit of the football association, for the contribution he made to the organization and for the many and necessary initiatives he led.

I intend to publish in the coming months a call with the mandatory criteria for the position of CEO and to establish a committee that will select the appropriate person for the demanding, central and so important position of CEO of the Football Association.

At my request, Yossi will continue to be with us all this time and contribute with his experience and abilities."

The CEO of the association, Yossi Sharabi: "I had the great privilege of leading the association in the role of CEO for the past two years, getting to know the world of football and its great social, national and sporting importance. The decision was made out of mutual appreciation, in the friendship between me and the incoming chairman And out of my personal desire after decades in the public service to act in new and challenging ways.

I will continue in my position as the CEO of the Football Association until the most deserving position holder is found to lead together with the change of the association and our football, and as I promised the chairman I will continue to be at his disposal in the future as long as it is required."
