The Sixers did not have a moment against one of the weakest teams in the league - certainly not after the return of Joel Embiid to the floor after three games outside due to pain in his leg.
The center was more dominant than usual with 36 points and 11 rebounds in only 24 minutes, James Harden added a second triple double in a row of 16 points, 12 rebounds and 15 assists in 26 minutes.
Rudy McGregor, Jaydon Ivey and Sadiq Bay scored 17 each for the loss.
Miami (20:23) - Oklahoma City (24:18) 111:112
The Heat set an incredible NBA record of 40 of 40 from the line, and it's only symbolic that the winning basket also came from the free throw - with 12.9 seconds left, Jimmy Butler completed a historic night when he was accurate after a basket and a foul, completing the turnaround without six rotation players, including four top-five players ( among them Bam Adebayo).
In their absence, Butler took responsibility with 35 points (23 of 23 from the line), Max Strauss added 22. Shea Gilges Alexander scored 26 on the other hand, but missed a fatal shot near the end.
