Chelsea Football Club announced the signing of Portuguese star Joao Felix on loan until the end of the current season.
The club said in a statement on its official website that the 23-year-old player was included on loan from Spanish club Atletico Madrid during the current winter transfer market.
English press reports revealed that Chelsea paid 11 million euros for Felix's loan from Atletico Madrid, and will also pay his full salary of 250,000 pounds per week after he signed another season with his club until 2027.
The Portuguese star played 131 matches with Atletico Madrid in various competitions, during which he scored 34 goals and provided 18 assists.
