As first published in "Israel Hayom", the coach will replace Sloboden Drapich on the lines with a contract until the end of the season • Efforts to sign an Israeli goalkeeper

Haim Silves, the designated coach of Hapoel Tel Aviv, whose candidacy for the team was revealed yesterday for the first time in "Israel Hayom" will meet today (Wednesday) with one of the owners, Itzik Nisanov, in order to sign his contract and conduct his debut training in the red uniform this afternoon.

Talks have already taken place between the parties and Silves has expressed his willingness to reach a contract until the end of the season.

The coach's salary is expected to be similar to what Drapich had and is estimated at NIS 40,000 per month.

"In our situation and perhaps with the struggles at the bottom of the syllabus, it is most appropriate," they said in Hapoel.

Sylves, who has already begun to study the team, will receive a promise of reinforcement in several positions.

But first and foremost, the Reds want to immediately add an Israeli goalkeeper, and will make efforts in this area, after so far the answers they received from Ofir Marciano, Ariel Harosh and Boris Kleiman, did not match the salary they can offer.

And what about the professional manager Omer Buxenbaum?

The decision at this stage is not to add another person in his place, at least until the end of the current season, when the purchase group from the USA may take ownership of the club.
