The Lebanese Beirut team defeated Al-Ittihad Al-Ahly Aleppo with a score of 90-69 points in the match that brought them together today on the grounds of Al-Hamdaniya Hall in Aleppo, within the third round of the first leg of the West Asian Wasl International Basketball Championship for the men’s category.
The first three quarters ended in favor of Beirut, Lebanon, by 21-9, 22-21, and 27-19 points, while the two teams tied in the fourth quarter by 20-20 points.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ittihad Al-Ahly Aleppo lost in the first round to the Jordanian Orthodox by 59-40 points in Aleppo, and lost in Iran to the Iranian Zob Ahan by 75-54 points.
