Ligue 1: held in check in Strasbourg, Lens loses ground on PSG

At the end of a spectacular draw (2-2) in Strasbourg, the dolphin of PSG lost two points in his fight from a distance with PSG.

At La Meinau, you didn't have to go get a beer or go to the toilet during the first quarter of an hour of play. Three goals were scored in six minutes.

Alexis Claude-Maurice opened the scoring for Lens (11th) but the Alsatians struck twice in stride.

First by Sanjin Prcic (13th), almost on the throw-in, then by former Parisian Kevin Gameiro (16th) three minutes later.

The goal was awarded after video refereeing.

This match was completely crazy, at least in its first half.

The PSG dolphins in the standings returned to the score at the half-hour mark thanks to the Belgian Loïs Openda (33rd).

Faced with an Alsatian team which made its coach Julien Stephan pay two days earlier for its poor start to the season, the Northerners had a complicated evening.

Undefeated for seven games in L1 (6 wins, 1 draw), Lens was shaken.

The second half was not much calmer than the previous one.

The Northerners tried, the Alsatians resisted and vice versa.

Both teams had their chance.

But the bar, a post, a very good goalkeeper and sometimes a little clumsiness did not change the score.

After a spectacular match, the good operation is clearly for Strasbourg which is recovering a little health at the bottom of the classification.
