In the A-Class 6, SV Langenbach and SGT Istanbul Moosburg are tied at the top of the table.

The decisions in the table cellar, on the other hand, have probably already been made.

District – Before the start of the season, there was almost only one answer to the question about the favorites in the A-Class 6: SGT Istanbul Moosburg.

Many predicted that after a few high-profile signings a breakthrough.

However, it does not look like that for the winter break.

The top team is in the fight for the championship, but at the moment another group greets them from the top of the table.

Langenbach has no adjustment problems

Equal on points with the Turks, newly promoted SV Langenbach leads the table.

Coach Frank Vanselow's plan to acclimatize in the A class worked faster than expected.

The SGT had to acknowledge this without envy in a direct comparison.

The newcomer clearly won this duel with 3:0.

And thus set what was probably the biggest exclamation point in the preliminary round.

The league's shooting star was not immune to negative surprises either.

So there was only a 2-2 draw against relegation candidates FC Wang.

But just a week later, with a 10-0 win against tail light TSV Au II, one of the highest wins of the season followed.

TSV Au II the victim of several victories

One could almost feel sorry for the Auer.

Because the bankruptcy against Langenbach should not remain the only double-digit defeat.

At SV Geroldshausen, the team of coach Andreas Maier even conceded a 0:13, but was already 0:8 behind at the break.

After the record result in the first half of the season, the coach had to admit that it probably wouldn't be enough for the A class this season.

The defense presented itself too often too permeable - only two points on the credit side also speak a clear language.

Lucky for FC Wang, who, despite some wild results and only eight points, will probably not be relegated directly.

Back to the duel at the top: Moosburg's assistant coach Dominik Gessler kept saying at the start of the season that the team first had to come together.

After the draw at the start against Attaching II, the Turks started a winning streak until they just lost against Langenbach.

They were in first place for a long time before they only managed an unfortunate 1-1 draw at home against Attenkirchen on the last matchday in 2022.

SpVgg Attenkirchen: The team of extremes

The Attenkircheners with coach Steven Ducat are eight points behind the top duo in third place.

Normally, the SpVgg has the undisputed best striker in the A-Class 6 in Christian Lorenz.

However, to date he has hardly been able to play a game without worrying about injury, and has sometimes even dropped out completely.

The year ended with a meager eight goals for its standards – things should go better at the start and Ducat is not giving up hope of a place in the top two despite the big deficit.

In the autumn round, Attenkirchen became a bit of a team of extremes.

In mid-October there was one of the most disappointing results ever with a 1:3 at FC Wang - only a week later the Ducat squad dominated at the stronger rated SVA Palzing II:

Which brings us back to FC Wang: The penultimate league team has won two games.

In addition to the success against Attenkirchen, third in the table, coach Bernhard Oberprieler was also able to look forward to a smooth 3-0 win over fourth-placed TSV Moosburg.

However, the highs were always followed by much bigger lows, as the two games against SC Tegernbach prove: In the first meeting they lost 7-0 away and there was an equally hefty 8-1 defeat at home - Wang was already behind Break back 0:6 and an even greater disaster threatened.

The coach was always at a loss given the different performances of his team.

Lippcke has to put himself in the goal at Haag

The Tegernbachers are in a good fifth place behind relegated TSV Moosburg/Neustadt.

They are followed by last year's runners-up VfR Haag.

His trainer Volker Lippcke warned before the start of the season that due to a number of departures and injuries, they will not be as strong again this year.

At the beginning of the round, the need was so great that Lippcke himself had to give up the temporary goalkeeper.

After four defeats at the start, however, VfR increased.

Not on the man: Haag's coach Volker Lippcke had to guard the goal against SpVgg Attenkirchen.

Just before the relegation zone is the district class relegated BC Attaching II. Quite a disappointment, after all, the team around coach Thomas Stampfl before the start of the season was most often counted among the title contenders alongside SGT Istanbul.

At that time, the coach was already fighting against being the favorite after seven regular players had left the club.

He spoke of fifth place as his goal for the season, but with tenth place, the Attachinger are currently lagging far behind this goal.

Given the eight-point lead over Wang, you shouldn't have anything to do with relegation.

In between there is another team in the tableau with SC Oberhummel.

Its trainer Anton Hirschfeld always gives the relegation as an effort - five points buffer one has on the FCW on the relegation rank.

Title fight promises great excitement

SV Oberhaindlfing (currently eighth place) and SVA Palzing II (ninth place) had hoped for a little more before the start of the season and can now expect a quiet second half of the season.

TSV Moosburg/Neustadt, on the other hand, has so far fulfilled the exact requirements of its coach Hans Heim: They said before the season they would have nothing to do with the first three places.

Fourth place is a success and the third Attenkirchen is only two points ahead of TSV.

The question of relegation should be clarified - only a miracle will help the TSV Au II.

The relegation factor seems to have already been determined with FC Wang.

On the other hand, there should be great tension in the fight for the championship - with SV Langenbach and SGT Istanbul Moosburg as the main protagonists.

The promoted team particularly impressed with its unity and flexibility in attack.

With Julian Hauner (13 goals), Christian Spengler (ten) and Kilian Ziegltrum (ten), three SVL players are in the top four of the top scorers in A-Class 6. Mahmut Yarac, who with his 20 stalls at the top of the rankings.

The betting odds for the championship title of the Moosburgers should still be significantly worse, the potential within the squad is too great.

But the Langenbacher will certainly give everything to continue to cause surprises.

And who knows - maybe it will work out in the end with the second ascent in a row.
