Spain's Roberto Bautista and his compatriot Paula Badosa reached the semi-finals of the second edition of the Adelaide Tennis Championships.
Bautista succeeded in settling the outcome of the match in his favor and defeated Alejandro Davidovich Fokina with two sets without a response, 6-3, 6-2, in a match that lasted an hour and 24 minutes, while Paula Badusa needed two hours and 35 minutes to decide the outcome of the match in her favor and defeated the Brazilian Betaris Maya in two sets, free of charge, with a result. 7-6 and 7-5.
Bautista will face in the next round the winner of the match between Greek Tanasi Kokkinakis and Serbian Miomir Kekmanovic, while Badusa will face Russian Daria Kasatkina, who in turn defeated Czech Petra Kvitova.
