The temporary replacement for Noël Le Graët, withdrawn on Wednesday, spoke Thursday morning in front of the employees of the French Federation

On Wednesday, he left the premises of the French Football Federation in the 15th arrondissement of Paris in the shoes of the new interim president and general manager of the Federation.

So far vice-president of Noël Le Graët, whose withdrawal was announced at the beginning of the afternoon, Philippe Diallo then took the road to Aube to attend OM's victory in the evening ( 2-0) on Troyes in Ligue 1.

This Thursday morning, the former secretary general of the Union of Professional Football Clubs returned to Boulevard de Grenelle for a first speech since taking office against FFF employees.

An intervention announced the day before by e-mail and scheduled for 10:45 a.m.

According to our information, around 140 employees were physically present in a conference room, while 103 others, teleworking or on rest, followed this half-hour speech by videoconference, which began at 10:45 a.m.

Philippe Diallo has detailed the contours of his provisional mandate, which must last at least until the publication of the audit of the Ministry of Sports on the FFF, scheduled for the end of January.

The interim president of the first sports federation in France also recognized a governance crisis, while recalling that the FFF was doing well financially, as shown by the accounts for the 2021-2022 financial year which have returned to the green.

He also mentioned the situation of the general manager Florence Hardouin, victim of a malaise after her layoff on Wednesday.

An intervention by the CSE to demand accountability

Diallo also explained what awaits the FFF after the publication of the audit.

It will have two weeks to respond to the analyzes of the investigators of the General Inspectorate of Education, Sport and Research.

If the report could lead to the definitive departure of Noël Le Graët and the election of a new president in June, the interim of the function asked, according to several witnesses, his assistance to "continue to work in confidence", despite "difficult times".

A time reserved for questions from employees was scheduled at the end of his intervention.

While very few dared to speak, a representative of the Social and Economic Committee (CSE) of the FFF intervened to speak out for the emotion of the staff of the federation in the face of these repeated crises and on the scars left by the social plan approved in 2021.

An intervention appreciated by many people present.

Philippe Diallo promised that he would receive the elected representatives of the CSE to discuss these problems.
