Munich – As a luger, Felix Loch races down the ice canals of this world at immense speed.
On a very special day, the 33-year-old found words that go down like oil.
Because on the birthday of his wife Lisa, the three-time gold medal winner at the Olympics, 13-time world champion and six-time European champion reminded with an emotional post what part his better half has in his successes.
“You sacrifice yourself for us and everyone else and forget yourself in the process. You are always there.
Always!” Loch writes on Instagram: “You have had my back for 13 years, have nerves of steel (ok, except on the train) and just do everything!” The love message ends with the words: “You are one incredible mom, manager and most of all my darling!

He also provided a clip that – accompanied by the song “Adore You” by Harry Styles – shows private and tobogganing pictures.
The couple can be seen at a fair, possibly the Wiesn, followed by scenes from their Olympic triumph in Sochi in 2014, including Lisa cheering on the track and the winner's kiss at the finish.
This is followed by scenes of Lisa with one of the sons in the car, Lisa sitting on a tennis court bench and finally Lisa in her office.

Since the outbreak of the Ukraine war, both have been committed to the Athletes for Ukraine association, along with other winter sports stars, which sends the clear message: The war must end!
Last spring, Felix Loch, together with several fellow campaigners, brought aid to the Ukrainian border with Poland. 47 refugees, including 21 children, came to Germany with the convoy.
