Real Madrid booked its seat in the Spanish Super Cup final by defeating Valencia on penalties after the end of the regular and extra time of the match, which brought them together on Wednesday in Riyadh in a 1-1 draw.

Real Madrid took the lead first, with Karim Benzema's goal from a penalty kick in the 39th minute, and Samuel Leno equalized for Valencia in the 46th minute.

The original time ended with a 1-1 draw, so the match extended to two additional halves, but the result remained the same, so the two teams decided to penalty kicks, which Real Madrid won 4-3.

Real Madrid awaits in the final scheduled for next Sunday the winner of the match that will bring together today between Barcelona and Real Betis.
