"I'm bullied in the team": the biathlon star has to take pictures because of the sauna

In terms of sport, things are going really well for the Norwegian biathlon star Vetle Sjastad Christiansen.
But off the track he has to put up with a lot.
Ruhpolding - Things are going really well for the Norwegian biathlon star Vetle Sjastad Christiansen this winter.
In the overall World Cup he is third, ahead of him are only Sturla Holm Laegreid and high-flyer Johannes Thingnes Bö (both Norway).
But according to his own statement, Christiansen is going through a difficult time off the track.

The reason for this should be an advertising cooperation.
For a few months now, the sauna fan has been advertising the company Radiant Health, which produces portable infrared saunas, among other things, on his official Instagram channel.
He is only lightly dressed in the promotional pictures, which caused ridicule in the Norwegian biathlon team.

Christiansen himself doesn't like it either, the photos are "the worst" for him.
“I basically swallow all self esteem, block all emotions and press send.
Then you forget it right after and act like it didn't happen," says the Norwegian biathlon star.
However, his teammates don't seem to forget so quickly and probably can't suppress biting comments.
According to Christiansen, he will only be “Mr.

Actually, he likes to advertise for the company because he uses their offer on World Cup trips himself.
“It's a very good recovery for me, both mentally and physically.
Sitting in a 100 degree sauna after training is really nice,” he said.

But he also admits that his teammates "are right" in their mockery.
A look at his Instagram profile also reveals that he doesn't always take himself so seriously, so he will certainly be able to put up with the mocking comments.
His sporting successes certainly help him to console himself a little over the jokes of his teammates off the track.
While the Norwegian biathlon team has every reason to celebrate, the German team is weakening about a month before the home world championships in Oberhof.
