Al-Wathba team continued its lead in the Premier Football League after its goalless draw today with its host, Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahly Aleppo, at Al-Hamdaniya Stadium in Aleppo, within the eighth round of the competition.
In the Latakia derby, Tishreen tied with Jableh 1-1, with Jableh scoring first through Mohamed Lulu in the 20th minute, and Tishreen equalized through Nasuh Al-Nakdali in the last minute of the match that took place at Al-Basil Stadium in Lattakia.
And at Al-Jalaa Stadium in Damascus, Al-Jaish achieved a big victory over Hattin by three goals, to none, to share the lead with Al-Wathba.
The goals of the match were scored by Omar Al-Turk in the 4th minute, and Mohamed Al-Waked scored the first two goals from a penalty kick in the 53rd and 65th minutes.
Al-Karamah's match with Al-Wehda, which took place at Al-Basil Stadium in Homs, ended with a difficult victory for Al-Karamah, with a single goal scored by Ibrahim Al-Zein in the 73rd minute.
Al-Majd defeated Al-Jazira with two goals without a goal through Ali Al-Sayed in the 31st and 43rd minutes, while Al-Jazira’s goal came through Yilmaz Issa in the 19th minute.
