The race was once again tight as the Honda rider was only 49 seconds ahead of the Australian Daniel Sanders (GasGas) and 1 min and 58 sec the other Australian Toby Price (KTM) after 376 km partly in the dune mountain ranges.
According to provisional results, the American Skyler Howes (Husqvarna) lost 2 min 54 sec, and first place in the provisional general classification.
Two stages from the finish on Sunday in Dammam, Price took control.
Starting in 3rd position, he managed to finish 3rd at the finish on Friday, boosted by the bonuses collected along the stage.
He is followed, at 28 seconds, by Howes.
Argentinian Kevin Benavides (KTM) remains in ambush at 2 min 40 sec.
The 45 edition of the rally-raid started on December 31 from the shores of the Red Sea near Yanbu, for a two-week stage and more than 8,000 km.
