Lion Boyamba aggressive: "The 3rd league is not the final goal in my career..."

The good mood is back: Joseph Boyamba wants to show himself again, not only on the beach volleyball court.

It's the ideal game for a new start: 1860 in Mannheim, with a rival in the fight for promotion.
It's clear that ex-Waldhöfer Boyamba is also hoping for something.
All eyes will be on him on Saturday: Raphael Holzhauser is to lead TSV 1860 in Mannheim to a dream start to the new football year, the game permit has been in place since Friday.
The loan lion from OH Leuven is intended for Michael Köllner's starting XI, which is missing two other fixtures: captain Stefan Lex and Yannick Deichmann (both flu).
The chance for ex-Waldhöfer Joseph Boyamba?
He was still very well connected with his Formula 1 clique in Mannheim, revealed the turbo dribbler in Belek, but at 1860 he was slowed down early.
He has been out since the game at Dortmund II in early October and also had to appear in the B-Elf in the Turkey camp.
But: A longer pit stop on the bench is not an option for the Mercedes fan, who promises full throttle from now on - if the trainer lets him.
"When I wasn't in the squad against Essen, that was tough," admits Boyamba.
Since talking to Köllner, however, he has been positive about the future: "I'm a fighter, I know what I can do.
If I keep doing my best, my name will be back on the scoreboard.
Headwind won't blow me down."

“No, definitely not.
That's part of football.
You don't always just get honey on your bread.
You have to be a bit resilient.
The break now came at a good time – for everyone.
It also seems that we have found more fun in football again.

“The most important thing is to win games, because when you win, you tend to be in a better mood.
At the end of the day, one mustn't forget: If you lose the fun of football, you cramp up and can no longer achieve your maximum performance.
You have to approach the whole thing seriously, but you can't lose the fun of football.
When I think of Meppen, where I play the ball over 40 meters to Koby (Martin Kobylanski/Red.) and he just has to push it in … that's fun.”

"On the sole ten, so that I can just do gymnastics anywhere - or outside.
I spoke to the coach a few times, he was satisfied now and said that my position is on the right – that's where I played most of the games."
…Opening opponent Mannheim:
“The opening is always important.
Can be seen as a top game, as a big point game.
They're breathing down our necks.
We want to maintain the connection to the top.
The others also steal the points from each other at the top – that’s why it wouldn’t be wrong to take the three points with you to Munich.”

The zero has to stand as long as possible, that's the most important thing.
I know how it is there: If you don't take the lead and aren't in the game that well, they get restless..."

“I think there are few things in life that spur you on.
Whether it's football or another profession: you never want to stay where you are.
If you are satisfied with what you have too soon, you have done something wrong.
For me personally, it is a goal to always get the best out of it and not to stagnate.
At the end of the day, the 3rd league is not the final goal in my career.”
