No chance: SC Riessersee is defeated by the strong Starbulls Rosenheim earned 2: 5 - and loses three injured players.

Rosenheim –

As is well known, one never stops learning in life.

And Pat Cortina always hopes that his SC Riessersee team will continue to develop, learn and get better.

If his men paid close attention on Friday night, then he should be able to see progress in future games.

Because in Rosenheim, the SCR received high-quality visual instruction over 40 minutes.

The Starbulls broke the Werdenfelser into their individual parts at times and led 5-0 at times.

In the end, the hosts celebrated a sovereign and well-deserved 5:2 home win at Mangfall.

Rosenheim superior from the start

Right from the start, the Starbulls showed why they are the closest pursuers to leader Weiden.

Although they were outnumbered early on, the opening minutes belonged to them.

On the other hand, the Riesserseer could be happy not to have fallen behind in the power play.

Because the two best chances went to the Rosenheimers.

Even in five-a-side, nothing changed.

The basis for the successful course of the season for the hosts is their defense.

It became clear again on Friday evening.

The storm line defended its own blue line excellently, making it immensely difficult for the guests to penetrate the opposing third at all.

As soon as the puck was captured, it went straight to the front.

Only led to success in the eighth minute because SCR goalie Daniel Allavena had previously presented himself in brilliant form.

But after the sharp pass to Tyler McNeely, Allavena was powerless.

The only highlight for the traveling SCR fans in the first section: Moritz Israel beat up Stefan Reiter in a fistfight.

One of the few fights won by the Riesserseer that evening.

Shortly before the end of the third, Simon Mayr saved the guests from conceding the second goal by scratching the disc off the line.

SCR is threatened with a debacle in the second section

In the half-time interview, returnee Uli Maurer complained that his team had too much respect for their opponents.

"We have to trust ourselves more," he demanded.

The opposite was the case.

38 seconds were played again, so it was 2-0 for the hosts.

The start of the Starbulls' show of force.

From then on, the SCR hardly ever won a duel, kept losing order on the defensive, the offensive game didn't take place at all.

The top scorer series with Kevin Slezak, Robin Soudek and Lubor Dibelka was completely canceled.

Only Rosenheim played and only Rosenheim got hit.

Which was a bit surprising.

Because the Starbulls are not feared for their efficiency, they were only tenth in these statistics before the game.

But these numbers have been pimped up, in the meantime the SCR was threatened with a debacle,

it was 5:0 shortly before the end of the third.

But Aziz Ehliz and in the final section Dibelka at least used their goals to make up for the result.

Three Riesserseer players injured out

The Riesserseers were once again shown that they are not a top team, as they lost another top game.

But that's not all: Israel, Slezak and Christoph Eckl are also three players injured.

A used evening for the white-blue.

However, if they learn from it, this game was at least good for further development.
